MAX VERSTAPPEN took pole position for the Brazilian Grand Prix – 12 months on from his bust up with Esteban Ocon.
The Red Bull man clashed with the Frenchman, who was trying to unlap himself, cost him the win.

Verstappen was livid and shoved Ocon in an angry exchange, but he was all smiles in Sao Paulo after this performance.
Verstappen took provisional pole but it was a scrappy first crack and he had more left in the tank. His second run was even better.
Sebastian Vettel was second while Lewis Hamilton, who won the title last out in the US GP, will start in third place.
Meanwhile, it was a miserable afternoon for McLaren as Lando Norris qualified in 11th and Carlos Sainz failed to set a lap time.
Norris apologised to his team over the radio after he failed to make it into the top 10 shootout.
And Sainz reported a lack of power on his first run in the car and the team decided to pull him out of qualifying through fear it would damage his engine further.
Both Renaluts of Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg also failed to make it into the top 10.
And George Russell again out-qualified his Williams teammate, Robert Kubica, with the Brit’s record standing at 20-0 for the season.
