LOGAN PAUL went “back to the drawing board” as he worked up a sweat on the punch bag.
The American fell to defeat against KSI as the two YouTubers went at it for a professional boxing fight.
Logan Paul was back on the punch bag in the gym after his appeal against his loss to KSI was thrown out
The American was left gutted at losing to his YouTube rival KSI
The Londoner got the victory that night against a man who had said he could become a heavyweight champion of the world.
Now, after his appeal against the decision was thrown out, the 24-year-old was back in the gym taking his frustrations out on the punch bag.
The American internet star was beaten by split decision against his Brit opponent – real name Olajide William Olatunji – after having TWO points deducted.
Paul dropped KSI in round four but as he hit his man on the way down and on the floor he was penalised.
APPEAL DENIED
As a result it cost the 24-year-old the win as he was beaten by a single point on the deciding card – meaning without the foul he would have won.
The boxing novice launched an appeal with the California State Athletic Commission believing the decision to dock two points was unfair – but confirmed he had failed in his efforts.
Paul confirmed on his YouTube channel: “Bad news, my appeal got denied.
“I can’t say I did not see this coming. For those who don’t know I appealed the two points that the ref took away from me in my boxing fight with KSI, which is the reason I lost.
“So KSI has officially without question or doubt won the fight against me.
“It’s not great, if I’m being honest it stings, I hate to lose. It mostly stings though as I quite literally shot myself in the foot.
“I only lost because of my actions.”
Paul thanked CSAC chief Andy Foster for giving the appeal the “due diligence” he believed it deserved.
