When is Fury vs Wilder 2, where will the fight be held and is it on box office TV in the UK?

IT was one of the greatest heavyweight contests of the modern era.

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder put on a terrific show in Los Angeles when the pair went toe-to-toe in an epic draw last December – and now their rematch looks to be on after confirmation from promoter Frank Warren.

When is Fury vs Wilder II?

Fury announced in July that his rematch against Wilder will take place on February 22, 2020.

The Brit fights Otto Wallin on September 14, while the Bronze Bomber is set to defend his WBC title against Luis Ortiz in November.

Fury said in a YouTube video: “The Wilder rematch has been confirmed and signed for 22nd of February, it’s on.

“This time, I haven’t been out of the ring for three years. This time, I haven’t been abusing too much alcohol. And this time, I’m going to knock him the f*** out.”

But that will not be end, as Fury announced that there will be a third battle between the two in June, before he faces the winner of the upcoming Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr fight in December next year.

Where will they fight?

Fury and Wilder met at the famous Staples Center in LA back in December 2018.

Where their next fight will be held is yet to be confirmed, but it looks set to once again be on American soil.

Wilder will be putting his WBC belt on the line and hasn’t fought outside the US since 2014.

The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where Fury faced Schwarz, and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn are the favourites to host the mouthwatering clash.

Will it be on box office TV?

LAST year’s fight was promoted by Frank Warren – and so will the rematch.

The December meeting was broadcast on BT Sport Box Office in the UK and the same looks set to be the case for another bout.

It cost £19.95 to buy the first fight – stay tuned to SunSport for details as they emerge.
