Watch moment boxer makes extravagant MC Hammer ‘Can’t Touch This’ dance entrance… before being KOd in first round

A CONFIDENT boxer performed an extravagant ‘Can’t Touch This’ dance on his way to the ring – and then got hammered in the first round.

Indonesian brawler Charles Latuperissa took on Sultan Al Nuaimi in a super-flyweight bout in Dubai.

Latuperissa made the most of the occasion, dancing to MC Hammer’s 1990 smash hit on his way to the ring.

Once inside the ropes, he then showed off some impressive moves as he jived to the classic.

But it didn’t end well for the 2-1-1 showman.

Al Nuaimi, making his debut, twice floored his man before a first round stoppage.

Latuperissa must have used all his energy busting a move, because he was dropped with a single jab to the stomach.

Despite the poor showing when the bell sounded, fans still heaped praise on Latuperissa’s ringwalk.

One said: “This dude is to cool, he wins just because of his dance skills.”

Another said: “If he only worked as hard in boxing as he did his dance he be unstoppable.”

Fans will remember cult hero Usman Ahmed, who became an internet star for his famous ringwalk against Chris Edwards in 2009.

The clip, viewed over half a million times, shows Ahmed’s colourful dance to the ring, and then cuts to him being knocked out cold.

But the footage was actually from two separate fights.

Eagle eyed viewers will notice the maverick wearing black gloves on his way to the ring, but red ones when he is KO’d.

Ahmed’s famous ringwalk actually took place before he fought Edwards for the British and Commonwealth title, a bout he lost on points.

It was two fights later that he was laid out by Ashley Sexton for the English belt with the footage edited to fit his memorable ring entrance.
