Tyson Fury’s dad John calls out Dana White and threatens to ‘smash him with one punch’ after boxer linked to UFC

TYSON FURY’S father John has threaten to “smash” UFC chief Dana White in an extraordinary rant.

As SunSport previously reported, White has scoffed at Tyson’s desire to get into MMA, saying that the heavyweight boxer would “get smashed” if he entered the cage.

But in a furious defence of his son’s talents, John has told White to “keep my son’s name out of your mouth” and has called for the two to fight it out.

Speaking to iFL TV John, who heavily criticised his son’s team after his bloody victory last time out against Otto Wallin, said: “I could probably smash Dana White with one punch.

“How can he write my son off like that? Let him talk to me like that. I’ll fight him… Keep my son’s name out of your mouth.

“How does he know about smashing anybody when Tyson comes from a smashing family, you know what I’m saying?

“When I can probably smash Dana White with one punch, you know what I’m saying?

“So how can he write my son off like that? You can’t write a man off with Tyson’s ability or heart or will to win, and he knows that. He’s talking stupid.

JOHN FURY’S THREATS

“Let him talk to me like that. I’ll fight him. Match me up with him tonight, you know what I’m saying?

“Because I believe I’m the best 54-year-old man in the world. I’m the fittest, I know that, and I’m the best 54-year-old man on the planet.

“I’m going to prove it anytime, anywhere, for free or for money.

“So let him take that in your pipe and smoke it. I mean that, mate. Keep my son’s name out of your mouth. If it’s not good, don’t talk about him.”

WHITE DOUBTS FURY

Lineal heavyweight champ Fury, 31, revealed earlier this month that he was in discussions with UFC superstar Conor McGregor with the view of making his MMA debut.

The Gypsy King even called out heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, and KO king Francis Ngannou – both renowned for their expert striking.

UFC boss White, 50, told TMZ Sports he would welcome the maverick boxer over to the octagon – but warned it could end badly for the unbeaten boxer.

He said: “Listen, anything’s possible. If Tyson Fury wants to fight in MMA, I’ve got a ton of guys that would love to fight him. I just don’t know why.”

“Promoted the right way, [Fury] could be a part of 3 or 4 of the biggest fights in heavyweight [boxing] history.

“Why come over and get smashed when you could stay there?”

Fury recently made his WWE debut at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia – beating Braun Strowman.

His next boxing fight is likely to be the mouthwatering rematch against Deontay Wilder in February.
