Tyson Fury reveals comeback plans ahead of Deontay Wilder rematch with training camp starting on January 10

TYSON FURY has revealed he will be back in camp on January 10 to prepare for his mouthwatering rematch against Deontay Wilder.

The two heavyweights are set to go at it all over again on February 22 following their controversial draw in December last year.

Fury has had two fights since that – knocking out Tom Schwarz and then surviving a bloody war to outpoint Otto Wallin.

In that last fight he suffered a horror cut above his eye that required 47 STITCHES that SunSport reported could cost him £3,000 per fight to look after.

Wilder has had one bout since Fury, a stunning first-round KO of Dominic Breazeale in their fight in May this year.

Next up for the Bronze Bomber is another rematch – against Cuban veteran Luiz Ortiz on November 23.

With Fury’s promoter Frank Warren insisting WWE or UFC appearances wouldn’t get in the way of the rematch, Fury appears to have confirmed it is going ahead.

CAMP STARTS IN JANUARY

He told BT Sport: “December 15 I should be fully healed and back in action.

“I won’t think about camp until January 10. That’s the official start, January 10, we are off.

“You’re going to see the biggest dosser of all time drop on February 22, don’t worry about that.”

The fight is likely to take place in Las Vegas due to Fury now signed with Top Rank.

But he doesn’t seem too sure where his camp will take place.

With a cheeky smile more in hope than reality, the Gypsy King added: “I think we are going to Barbados, I think, but not sure.

“Wherever my dad takes us I’ll go.”

Fury recently made his WWE debut at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia – beating Braun Strowman.

The 31-year-old has also revealed he plans to give UFC a crack and wants to train with Conor McGregor.
