Huck’s team won the purse bid and will host the show, meaning the Juggernaut will have a hard job convincing foreign judges if it goes the distance.
Joyce, 34, is being fast tracked toward a world title shot by promoter Frank Warren and the daunting Germany assignment will be just his 11th pro fight.
Huck, 35, reigned as the WBO cruiserweight king for six years and 13 defences and stepped up to heavyweight last year.
Joyce said: “I have already won the Commonwealth title and I have been looking to move up to European and world level for a while.
“I want to get to the world title as soon as possible. Huck fought a lot of good names at cruiserweight and is a good opponent.
“I am looking forward to getting back in the ring and using new stuff I have been learning in the gym.
“Next year I want to be in very big fights, I have wanted to fight Jarrell Miller but he has not wanted the fight.
“Alexander Povetkin is another great name with a good record and he is a heavyweight gatekeeper. There would be some big shots and heavy leather thrown in that fight.”
Warren added: “We have made offers for Joe to fight a lot of guys and he has been avoided.
“Joe has no fear of fighting anyone and every time I look at him he grows in confidence and he has power in both hands.”
