UFC president Dana White has cancelled the proposed boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Khabib Nurmagomedov in Saudi Arabia.
Money, 42, retired as a professional in 2017 after beating UFC star Conor McGregor, but made a ring cameo a year later demolishing featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in Tokyo.

And according to Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz, Mayweather was in line for another crossover bout, facing his third consecutive MMA opponent.
The agent revealed Mayweather was set to box the UFC lightweight champion in Saudi Arabia in January, but White axed the event.
Both world champion fighters have called each other out in the past, after Nurmagomedov recorded his own win against McGregor, 31.
However, there is still a chance the two square off in the ring.
Mayweather – despite insisting he knew when to “hang it up” in the “very brutal sport” of boxing – announced on social media he will make a comeback next year.
The 42-year-old claimed he is “coming out of retirement in 2020” to work with UFC boss White in a “spectacular event”.
White and the former pay-per-view king were pictured courtside together at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as Boston Celtics lost to LA Clippers days before the announcement.
The pair worked together two years ago as McGregor swapped the octagon for the ring, losing by tenth round TKO that earned Mayweather a 50th win.
Irish star McGregor has since demanded a second crack at the American, though Mayweather last year tweeted broadcasters Showtime to front the cash in a bid to fight Nurmagomedov.
But it has not yet been revealed what the retired boxer and promoter White are working on.
