Ruiz Jr had AJ on the canvas four times in total before the referee eventually stopped the fight in the seventh.

He went home with Joshua’s four heavyweight champion belts despite being a huge 25/1 to win before the first bell.

Despite his odds being shorter, he heads into the rematch as an outsider once again with Ladbrokes having his odds at 9/4 for the win.

And punters believe there is value in his price as a whopping 69 per cent of betters are backing Ruiz to win.

That means over two in every three bets are going against AJ while 17 per cent of customers fancy the Watford-born fighter to bounce back.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Will it be revenge or repeat next month? Punters clearly think it’ll be the latter, with Ruiz Jr proving a popular pick.”
