Tyson Fury’s dad says he’s willing to DIE in a fight against Mike Tyson as 54-year-old legend makes return

TYSON FURY’S dad John says he is willing to DIE in a fight with Mike Tyson.
Iron Mike, 54, has been back in the gym and is gearing up to fight Roy Jones Jr on September 12. But 56-year-old Fury Snr wants to challenge the former heavyweight champ too.

    1

Tyson Fury’s dad John has called out Mike Tyson and said he is willing to DIE in the fight
Speaking directly to the camera in a passionate online video, Fury Snr said: “I’m looking at fighting Mike Tyson, how’s that?
    “Mike’s making a comeback.
“I don’t value my life to 50 pence but let me tell you something, Mike Tyson is worth doing charity with.
“He’s a proper king and a champion. He’s a proper man, tried and tested.”

Fury Snr has been a long time admirer of Iron Mike and even named his son Tyson after the Baddest Man on the Planet.
And the 6ft 3in Galway born man had a pro fighting career of his own – fighting 13 professional bouts.
He also fought bare-knuckle fighting and claims he won £100,000 in one bout.

Fury Snr also served four years of an 11-year sentence for gouging a man’s eye out in a sickening attack.

He continued: “I’ll fight Mike Tyson, I know he mentions my boy’s name every five minutes so here I am.
“John Fury is hiding from no man, not even the king of all men.
“Mike Tyson, I will fight Mike Tyson.
“Hear that then, I will not be denied, I will die in a fight.
“I am as game as an American Yankee c*** and I will die before I give in.”

Mike Tyson regrets being a real life ‘Tiger King’ and says owning THREE white tigers was a mistake

MIKE TYSON revealed his regret over owning three big tigers as pets admitting it was “foolish, they’d kill you”.
The white Bengal tigers – which reportedly cost £48,000 each – became an infamous part of Tyson’s character, with the American having three pet jungle cats.

But, now aged 54, the former ‘baddest man of the planet’ told American rapper Fat Joe that owning the pet cats was naive because of how dangerous they were.
As the two discussed the new Netflix documentary ‘Tiger King’, Tyson said on Instagram live: “I was foolish. There’s no way you can domesticate these cats 100 per cent.
“There’s no way that’s going to happen. They’ll kill you by accident, especially when you’re playing rough with them, you’re punching them back. They get hyped up, hit you back and you’re dead.
“I’m just happy I educated myself. I was doing the wrong s***. I shouldn’t have had them in my house, believing they were domesticated. I was wrong.”

In the same conversation, the boxing legend recalled how he once had to pay a trespasser £200,000 after one of his Bengal tigers “f***** up” her hand so badly.
Tyson said: “Somebody jumped over my fence where the tiger was and started playing with the tiger.
“The tiger didn’t know the lady so it was a bad accident. She jumped into the property where the tiger was.

I was foolish. There’s no way you can domesticate these cats 100 per cent… they’ll kill you by accident, especially when you’re playing rough with them, you’re punching them back. They get hyped up, hit you back and you’re dead.
Tyson on his regrets at owning pet tigers

“They tried to [sue] until they found out she jumped over the fence and she trespassed with the tiger.

“When I saw what the tiger did to her hand, I had a lot of money back then, so I gave her $250,000 (£200,000) whatever it was because she was just f***** up.”
Tyson decided to buy the outlandish pets after sparking up a conversation with a car dealer during his three-year prison sentence, for a 1992 sexual assault conviction.
He said on the Joe Rogan podcast: “So I’m in prison, I’m talking to my car dealer at the time.
“He has some cars that belong to a [mutual friend], and he’s discussing, ‘If he doesn’t pay for these cars, I’m going to sell these cars to somebody and get some horses.’
“I said, ‘What, you can get horses? And trade horses in for cars?’ Because I had a lot of cars, I’d probably get some horses too. And he said, ‘Yeah man, you can get cougars, lions, tigers.’

Anthony Joshua backed to beat Tyson Fury and ‘catch him quickly’ but will struggle past four rounds, claims Tony Bellew

ANTHONY JOSHUA has been backed to beat Tyson Fury – but only if he catches the Gypsy King cold.
Unified champion AJ, 30, and WBC king Fury, 32, verbally agreed to a two-fight deal earlier this year to secure a historic undisputed title decider in 2021.

    3

Anthony Joshua has been tipped to beat Tyson Fury by Tony Bellew

    3

Fury and Joshua have agreed a two-fight deal for next year – assuming Fury beats Wilder in their trilogy fight
And former world champion Tony Bellew has backed pal Joshua to win the Battle of Britain by early stoppage, but warns it is Fury’s game if the fight reaches the second half.
Bellew told The Gary Newbon Sports Show: “I think he would jump on Tyson Fury and I think he would catch him pretty quickly.
“But don’t get me wrong, if that fight was to go past four or five rounds, I think Anthony Joshua would find himself in an awful lot of trouble.
“He has to get rid of someone like Tyson Fury and solve that puzzle and enigma that is Tyson Fury quickly because the more fights go on against him the harder it becomes.”

Despite the double header agreement, it is subject to both champions winning their next fights.
Joshua faces mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev, 39, while Fury rematches 34-year-old Deontay Wilder, the man he dethroned in February.
But further complications lie for the pair, as their respected mandatories threaten to scupper the mega-money unification.
Oleksandr Usyk is next in line for AJ’s WBO belt while Dillian Whyte was due for his shot at the WBC belt by next February – before his shock loss to Alexander Povetkin.

Prior to Whyte’s defeat, promoter Eddie Hearn claimed Whyte should take priority over Joshua in the pursuit for Fury’s title.

Hearn told Boxing Social: “We don’t want the WBC to make Fury ‘franchise’ champion. Let him take care of his mandatory just like Joshua’s taking care of his.
“We don’t want to be elevated from ‘interim’ champ. He wants to fight the champion, he wants to fight Fury.
“Dillian Whyte actually has to take priority, in my opinion, over Anthony Joshua, to get that shot. We will do everything we can to deliver that.”

Mike Tyson reveals all after doctors gave him blood injection that left him feeling ‘weird’ during stem cell treatment

MIKE TYSON has revealed he was injected with nearly-translucent blood in his bid to make a comeback… and the former heavyweight champ said it made him feel “weird”.
The 54-year-old – who initially retired from boxing in 2005 – will fight Roy Jones Jr in November in his eagerly-anticipated comeback fight.

    1

Mike Tyson has opened up about his ‘weird’ blood injectionCredit: Reuters
His return to action has been aided by stem-cell research therapy, which has left him feeling like a “different person”.
In May, Tyson claimed: “You know what I had done? I had stem-cell research therapy.
“I feel like a different person but I can’t comprehend why I feel this way.
“It’s really wild what scientists can do.”

    MIKE DROP
Stem-cell therapy is the use of stem cells to treat or prevent a disease or condition that usually takes the form of a bone marrow transplantation.
Tyson opened up on the effects the treatment has had on him in an recent interview with rapper LL Cool J on the Rock the Bells Radio show on SiriusXM, earlier in 2020.
Commenting on the mental aspect of training for a fight for the first time in 15 years, he said: “My mind wouldn’t belong to me.
“My mind would belong to somebody that disliked me enough to break my soul, and I would give them my mind for that period of time.

“Six weeks of this and I’d be in the best shape I’ve ever dreamed of being in. As a matter of fact, I’m going through that process right now. And you know what else I did, I did stem-cell research.”
Tyson was then asked whether that meant if his white blood had been spun and then put back in, to which he replied: “Yes. As they took the blood it was red and when it came back it was almost transfluid (sic).
“I could almost see through the blood, and then they injected it in me.
“And I’ve been weird ever since, I’ve got to get balanced now.”

WHAT IS STEM CELL TREATMENT USED FOR?

Stem cell transplants are carried out when bone marrow is damaged or isn’t able to produce healthy blood cells.
It can also be used to replace damaged blood cells as the result of intensive cancer treatment.
Here are conditions that stem cell transplants can be used to treat:
severe aplastic anaemia (bone marrow failure)
leukaemia – a type of cancer affecting white blood cells
lymphoma – another type of cancer affecting white blood cells
myeloma – cancer affecting cells called plasma cells
certain blood, immune system and metabolic disorders – examples include sickle cell anaemia, thalassaemia, severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) and Hurler syndrome

Iron Mike had been called out by former rival Evander Holyfield to complete their trilogy following their two meetings in 1990s.
But he has since looked elsewhere, taking on Jones Jr later this year – potentially in front of a packed house.

Daniel Dubois tips Tyson Fury to beat Anthony Joshua as he reveals he has sparred with BOTH heavyweight champs

DANIEL DUBOIS tipped Tyson Fury to beat Anthony Joshua – having sparred both the heavyweight champions.
Fury, 32, and Joshua, 30, have verbally agreed a two-fight deal with 2021, as they eye an undisputed title decider.

    4

Tyson Fury has been tipped to beat Anthony Joshua by Daniel Dubois

    4

Joshua has verbally agreed to a two-fight deal with Fury for next year
The clash of styles and opposing personalties makes for Britain’s biggest ever fight – with fans divided on the outcome.
But 22-year-old hot prospect Dubois, gives WBC champion Fury the slight edge against unified WBA, IBF and WBO king AJ.
He told SPORTbible: “Fury at the moment. His skill and his know-how, coupled with his confidence should beat Joshua.
“But it will be a really good fight. I wouldn’t be surprised if it went the other way and Joshua won.”

Dubois shared the ring with Fury when the Gypsy King was deep in depression and as a result overweight – but his talented had not left him.

He said: “He jumped in for one round with me in Bolton, just before I turned pro.
“I was sparring his cousin Hughie and we did a round together – he was really overweight back then, so it was just quick.
“He’s just as slippery as he looks though. He’s a masterful boxer – he’s learned his craft well.”

Dubois earned a name for himself even before turning pro, following rumours he dropped a then-unbeaten Joshua in the gym.
But the soft-spoken prodigy remained tight lipped about the infamous spar, instead honouring the code of ‘what happens in sparring stays in sparring’.
