Both men contributed to what was an instant classic in Las Vegas.
And the duo both did so cleanly.
The Voluntary Anti-Doping Ageny (VADA) have confirmed that each of their samples came back clean.
They tweeted: “Congratulations to Tyson Fury and [Deontay Wilder] for again successfully completing VADA testing.”
After some bad blood down the years, the duo appear to have buried the hatchet and have both shown the other plenty of respect since their third showdown.
Wilder, 36, wrote on Instagram: “I’ve learned that sometimes you have to lose to win. Although, I wanted the win I enjoyed seeing the fans win even more.

Tyson Fury sends ‘awesome’ Deontay Wilder classy ‘happy birthday’ message with black eye still visible from fight

TYSON FURY sent Deontay Wilder a classy ‘happy birthday’ message as he thanked his ‘awesome’ ex-opponent for their epic trilogy series. Wilder turned 36 almost two weeks after his thrilling third fight with Fury, which ended after 11 gruelling rounds in Las Vegas.

The Gypsy King was quick to wish him all the best in an online video message, where a black eye from the thrilling trilogy bout was on show.
Fury, 33, said: “This is Tyson Fury, AKA The Gypsy King. This is a very special happy birthday message to my old mate, Deontay ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder.
“Have a fantastic day, Wilder. Thank you for the great fights we’ve had and the trilogy, and you’re a great, great fighter, an awesome fighter.
“I hope you have a fantastic day with you and your family. I hope God blesses you abundantly.
“All the best, lots of love from your old pal, The Gypsy King. All the best, God bless, Wilder.”
Fury first drew with Wilder in 2018, largely outboxing the American over 12 rounds but was twice dropped.

In their rematch 14 months on, he then brilliantly won in seven one-sided rounds in a fight that included a contracted trilogy bout.
But it took an arbitration case for Wilder to get the fight, as Fury attempted to instead face Anthony Joshua, 32, in a massive all-British unification.
And boxing fans can be thankful the judge ruled in favour of the Bronze Bomber after what played out earlier this month.
Wilder was floored three times by Fury, but also dropped the Gypsy King twice in round four himself, before finally being knocked out.
Initially, he refused to embrace his rival, and even claimed to have ‘no love’ or ‘respect’ for the WBC champion.

But after some reflection time, Wilder congratulated Fury in a heartfelt message on Instagram.
He wrote: “I’ve learned that sometimes you have to lose to win. Although, I wanted the win I enjoyed seeing the fans win even more.
“Hopefully, I proved that I am a true Warrior and a true King in this sport.

Anthony Joshua should use Tyson Fury’s tactics against Deontay Wilder to beat Usyk in rematch, claims Lawrence Okolie

ANTHONY JOSHUA should use Tyson Fury’s tactics to beat Oleksandr Usyk, according to WBO cruiserweight champion Lawrence Okolie. The Ukrainian outboxed AJ over 12 rounds last month to claim his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO belts.

Okolie, who beat Dilan Prasovic on the same card, believes that Joshua can prevail in his rematch with Usyk.
But he’ll have to take a leaf out of Tyson Fury’s playbook in his recent win over Deontay Wilder to do so.
The 28-year-old told the Mail: “He was in there with a world class fighter, a generational talent.
“It’s not just a case of you doing this and that happens. There’s another person in there trying to prevent that and knock you out.
“There’s stuff AJ can do to try and change the way the fight looks and feels, and I think he will.
“But in terms of his performance, he tried his best and it wasn’t good enough on the day.

“You have to just say Usyk was great that night and AJ has to work on certain things to beat that style.
“As you saw with Fury and Wilder, Wilder is an exceptional fighter, an exceptional puncher.
“But Fury decided, you know what, I’m 277-pounds and I’m going to let you know it.
“He pushed him back, he rallied through the hard rounds, ground him down and got the stoppage. I believe AJ can do something similar.”
Okolie has full confidence that Joshua will adapt and overcome Usyk when they do battle again in the spring.
Nine out of ten heavyweights aren’t going to try and box Usyk, they’re going to go in there and say ‘I am a natural heavyweight, let me show you.’Lawrence Okolie
He added: “Of course AJ is a talented boxer, but Usyk is an extremely talented boxer.
“Nine out of ten heavyweights aren’t going to try and box Usyk, they’re going to go in there and say ‘I am a natural heavyweight, let me show you.’
“I believe AJ does that, and alongside the boxing skills he has, he’ll get it done.
“He relied a bit too much on his boxing ability, where sometimes you have to remember it’s a contact sport, so go in there and make contact.”

Deontay Wilder retains No1 heavyweight ranking despite losing world title fights against Tyson Fury

DEONTAY WILDER has retained his place at No1 in the WBC’s heavyweight rankings, despite twice losing to champion Tyson Fury. The Bronze Bomber was knocked out by the Gypsy King for a second time earlier this month.

Wilder, 35, hasn’t won a fight since beating Luis Ortiz is November 2019.
But after his TEN successful title defences prior to his Fury rematch in February 2020, the Tuscaloosa puncher remains No1 on the WBC’s list.
This doesn’t mean that he is due the next shot at the champion, however.
And nor will that opportunity be handed to No2 ranked Andy Ruiz Jr or No3 ranked Joe Joyce.
The next shot at Fury is set to be handed to Dillian Whyte, should the Brit beat Otto Wallin later this month.
The likes of Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua do NOT feature in the WBC’s rankings, due to their exploits with other organisations.

And nor does Whyte, given that he already holds the WBC’s interim belt – won back courtesy of his rematch victory over Alexander Povetkin back in March.
Despite being due to face Whyte next, provided the 33-year-old beats Wallin, Fury reckons that No3 ranked Joyce is the ‘best one out there’.
Speaking about Fury’s opinion on the Juggernaut – who he sparred in 2018 – promoter Frank Warren told Sky Sports: “I was talking to Tyson about him. Tyson said that he’s the best one out there.
“That’s what Tyson’s opinion was. Can he go all the way? Yes he can. He’s got a good ticker, a big heart.
“He’s strong, he walks forwards, he is the ‘Juggernaut’. Whoever he’s in there with, you know they will have a problem getting rid of him.
“He’s a tough guy. He can fight a bit. He can punch.”

Deontay Wilder’s sparring partner reveals what makes Bronze Bomber hit so hard and hails Tyson Fury for getting up TWICE

TYSON FURY has been praised for getting up TWICE against Deontay Wilder, by a sparring partner who opened up on just how hard he hits. American Jim Torney spent two weeks in Wilder’s Alabama training camp helping in preparation for the trilogy bout.

Jim Torney after sparring with Deontay Wilder
Torney perfectly matches up with the Gypsy King’s 6ft 9in and 19 stone frame, so was an ideal sparring partner.
But it came at the cost of feeling the sheer force of Wilder’s punches, who has 41 knockouts in 42 wins, with a 91 per cent stoppage ratio.
Torney, 34, told SunSport: “His power is the real deal! You don’t know until you get in there.
“I was – in a strange way – kind of excited as you really want to have that kind of notch on your belt, to say you’ve been in there with Deontay Wilder.
“His power is second to none, I’ve never been hit like that before. His power is the real deal, but I was surprised by some other things too.”
Wilder has a reach of 83 inches, and uses every bit of it to launch devastating attacks.

Torney said: “I was really surprised by his length. As lot of the guys I spar with, even the elite guys haven’t been as long.
“So he’s really long, he uses it really well, he’s got a wide stance, he keeps his lead jab hand out there, he’s feinting.
“I found his length surprising and his pace too, he’s a warrior, he keeps the pace on. He jabs real well, and again, his power speaks for itself.”
Wilder’s reach and speed is what helps produce the brutal knockouts, having already been gifted with fearsome punch power.
Torney explained: “I’ve been in there with some other hard-hitters.
“But Wilder’s was very fast too, he covers that distance and he releases his right hand really fast.
“There was a couple of times I got hit with it and I just didn’t see it coming. There’s that initial surprise and then the power that comes with it.”
His power is second to none, I’ve never been hit like that before. His power is the real deal. Deontay Wilder’s sparring partner Jim Torney
Wilder, 35, twice floored Fury, 33, in their 2018 original but was stunned when neither was enough to close the show as it ended a draw.
In the rematch last year he was connivingly beaten but again had his British rival down twice in their recently thrilling trilogy decider.
And Fury got up both times in round four, later winning in the 11th after he scored a total of three knockdowns.
Torney said: “It’s surprising, but the fact he was able to do it in the first fight didn’t make it a complete shock that he was able to get up.
“But, say for instance the first knockdown it was kind of a delayed reaction by Fury, that I was kind of laughing.

“Because having been hit by Wilder, it’s almost like you could tell Fury knew he had been rocked and he was trying to stay up but his body wouldn’t allow him to.
“That to me, I was kinda chuckling to myself because when you’ve been hit by Wilder it’s not surprising to see that.
“It’s such a fast, powerful punch, and it kind of set in like two seconds later when Fury went down.
“But you know what Fury’s made of, he’s proved himself in the past and you know, like he said, if he can get up, he’s going to get up.
“So unless you can knock him the f*** out like he says, he’s going to keep getting up.
“But when you can do it against Wilder, it’s even more impressive.”

And Gypsy King Fury reposted the American’s words of congratulations and said: “The greatest trilogy of all time.”
Wilder was floored three times in the fight, but scored two knockdowns of his own in round four as he came within a punch of winning.
After the gruelling thriller, Fury attempted to make peace with his great rival, but was snubbed.
Footage even captured Wilder saying ‘no love’ and ‘I will never respect you’.
But the former WBC champion, who was feeling the affects of the fight, later spoke out and was full of praise for Fury, 33.
Wilder, 35, posted: “I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t disappointed in the outcome but after reflecting on my journey, I now see that what God wanted me to experience is far greater than what I expected to happen.

Deontay Wilder ‘would love’ FOURTH Tyson Fury bout and will make 2022 return for ‘the big fights’ after brutal trilogy

DEONTAY WILDER ‘would love’ a FOURTH shot at Tyson Fury – and only ‘the big fights’ will be his motivation, his manager said. The American’s promised night of retribution against Fury ended in brutal agony after an 11th round knockout loss.

It followed from their disputed draw in 2018 and Fury’s brilliantly one-sided rematch win last year.
The heavyweight rivals left the best till last, with five knockdowns scored in total during the epic trilogy bout in Las Vegas.
Despite defeat, Wilder is in line for a comeback by May 2022, with his reputation restored after the gutsy performance, which saw him down three times.
Asked what will motivate the ex-champion when returning, his co-manager Shelly Finkel told SunSport: “My gut is the big fights.
“It’s not on the drawing board now, but he would love to get Fury back again.
“I don’t think people want to see that right now, some of the other fights have to find their way through and then that can be a possibility.
“Because at the end of the day, aside from the winner from the Usyk and Joshua fight, there aren’t many big fights for Fury either.”

Anthony Joshua, 31, who was beaten by Oleksandr Usyk, 34, in September, is another option for Wilder.
AJ first will face Usyk again, but Finkel warned the outcome of the rematch will not affect a future fight between them.
He said: “It’s a massive fight, no matter what happens in the Joshua – Usyk fight.
“But again, it’s early and we have to get through Usyk and Joshua and see a couple of other possibilities.
“And I’m not sure that Usyk, even with his great skills, will be able to deal with the size of Fury.”
Wilder, 35, has now returned home to Alabama, where he will take an extended period of rest, with a six-month medical suspension.
It’s not on the drawing board now, but he would love to get Fury back again. Deontay Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel
He will also need to undergo surgery next week for a broken right hand sustained in the fight.
Finkel said: “He’s doing well, he gives all credit to Fury to perform the way he did.
“But early in the fight Deontay, probably around the third round, when he got hit, he got hit by the ear and it threw his equilibrium off.
“And I was watching and I said, ‘What happened to his legs?’ Because he trained so hard.
“He also, somewhere in the middle rounds, broke his right hand behind the third knuckle and he has to have that fixed next week.
“He has to have surgery, the knuckle is OK, it’s the bone behind the knuckle that broke.”

Tyson Fury’s ‘long count’ after being floored by Deontay Wilder was ‘an error or corruption’ claims UFC legend Joe Rogan

UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes Tyson Fury benefited from a ‘long count’ in his trilogy bout victory over Deontay Wilder. The Gypsy King floored the Bronze Bomber three times during their epic encounter last week with the Brit star knocking out his rival in the 11th round.

Joe Rogan believes the Gypsy King benefited from receiving a long count by referee Russell MoraCredit: Getty
Fury was himself dropped twice by the Alabama native in the fourth round, with fans believing the referee gave him a slow count after he hit the deck the second time.
Even ex-UFC ace Daniel Cormier stated the unbeaten Mancunian was given too much time to recover.
Discussing the incident on an episode of the JRE, Rogan said he believes it was either an ‘error’ from referee Russell Mora or ‘corruption’.
But footage has proved that it was Wilder’s fault after he was told to go back to a neutral corner by Mora, which caused him to stop counting.
Rogan said: “This is what happened. The referee is supposed to go ‘One two…’ when the guy goes down.
“But if for any reason he has to interrupt the count… you’re supposed to pick up the count where the ringside counter has it.

“So there’s a guy who’s counting ringside, and he’ll keep the count going,
“So if you’re at ‘One, two,’ and then you’re like ‘Go to a neutral corner,’ that guy is supposed to be like ‘three, four, five,’ but he didn’t.
“He went back to it, ‘three, four,’ but the guy had already been down for a couple seconds.
“Without a doubt it was a long count. I think it’s an error, or corruption. Most likely an error, most likely the guy’s panicking.”
Rogan also stated that he believes the dramatic heavyweight clash is one of the best dust-ups he has ever seen.
He remarked: “It was one of the greatest heavyweight fights of all time. One of the greatest boxing matches of all time.
“It was so crazy, it was so action filled. I mean, it was f****** amazing. From Tyson Fury knocking Wilder down early, to Wilder looking like he was done.
“There’s maybe one or two other humans that have ever lived that can punch as hard as (Wilder).

“He’s without a doubt one of the hardest punchers of all time. He’s a murderous puncher, but the level of skill was so evident.
“The difference is Tyson Fury is a masterful boxer, he’s masterful. The s*** that he did was amazing, and his strategy was amazing.
“Just stay glued to Deontay, wear on him, hang on him, make him work, and just drag him deeper and deeper into these f****** horrible waters filled with crocodiles.
“That’s what he did, and almost got knocked out doing it. That’s how dangerous Wilder is.”
Eddie Hearn says Tyson Fury can’t be considered an all-time great as he’s only fought Deontay Wilder for last three years More
