    Mesut Ozil’s agent makes dig at former Arsenal team-mate and reveals why he’ll never play for another English club

    MESUT OZIL’S agent has aimed a dig one of the German’s former Arsenal team-mates.That’s by insisting Ozil could NEVER play for another English club after loving his time with the Gunners.

    Ozil, 34, joined Arsenal for £42million from Real Madrid in 2013.
    He scored 44 goals in 254 games while winning three FA Cups.
    And despite his time ending on a sour note in January 2021, Ozil remains a firm Gooners favourite.
    He has since played for Fenerbahce, and now represents Istanbul Basaksehir after joining in the summer.

    But one thing is for certain: Ozil will never ply his trade in England again.
    Agent Erkut Sogut claims the midfielder loved his time at Arsenal so much that he could never be tempted to return to the Premier League with another side.
    That’s unlike former teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who left Arsenal for Barcelona in January.
    He made a shock comeback to the top flight with the Gunners’ fierce rivals Chelsea.

    Sogut also revealed Ozil remains in touch with many of Arsenal’s current stars, and has formed a special bond with new club hero Bukayo Saka.
    Sogut told Tribal Football: “Ozil could never play for another English club, he’s not like Aubameyang.
    “He loved his time at Arsenal and is still in contact with a lot of players, not least Saka. They have a special relationship.” More

    Mari, 29, was stabbed in the back while out shopping with his wife and child.
    One person was tragically killed in the attack while five others were injured.
    Mari, on loan at Italian side Monza from Arsenal, has now undergone surgery.
    Doctors reconstructed two injured muscles in his back.

    And Mari will be sidelined for two months as he rests after the traumatic event.
    Monza confirmed the Brazilian had undergone surgery, and will remain in hospital for two or three more days.
    They said: “This type of muscle injury usually requires two months of rest before one can resume physical activities.”
    Shocked Mari earlier revealed he was lucky to be alive after the knifeman went on his sickening rampage.

    Mari told Monza CEO Adriano Galliani: “I was with the trolley with my child inside and I felt an excruciating pain in my back.
    “Then that man stabbed another in the throat. Today I had luck, because I saw a person die in front of me.”
    Arsenal put out a statement wishing Mari a speedy recovery.
    It read: “We are all shocked to hear the dreadful news about the stabbing in Italy, which has put a number of people in hospital including our on-loan centre-back Pablo Mari.
    “We have been in contact with Pablo’s agent who has told us he’s in hospital and is not seriously hurt.
    “Our thoughts are with Pablo and the other victims of this dreadful incident.”

    And they have also revealed what games will be shown in the New Year.
    But Arsenal face a horror list after being given night-time starts in ALL THREE rounds of fixtures.
    After the World Cup ends and the Prem returns, Arsenal are first in action on Boxing Day.
    They take on West Ham, live on Amazon Prime Video, with kick-off at 8pm.

    Arsenal’s next match is shortly after on New Year’s Eve, where they travel to Brighton on Sky Sports for a 5.30pm start.
    Arsenal’s bleak winter on the box concludes with an 8pm game against Newcastle on January 3, also live on Sky.
    Brentford vs Spurs kicks off the Boxing Day action, with all games shown on Amazon Prime.
    The pick of the 3pms includes Aston Villa vs Liverpool.

    According to the Evening Standard, Ndicka, 23, is one of the North Londoners’ top targets but face competition for his signature.

    Arsenal turned their attention on Ndicka after missing out on Lisandro Martinez, who signed for United last summer.
    Mikel Arteta’s side also failed to land Calvin Bassey, who opted for Ajax.

    Ndicka stood out for Eintracht last season as he helped them win the Europa League.
    The Frenchman continues to impress in the Bundesliga with a total of 17 appearances already this season.

    It was postponed to accommodate the North London club’s previous called-off Europa League clash with PSV Eindhoven.
    The Gunners were scheduled to play PSV on Thursday September 15, but the match got postponed due to concerns over police resources following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

    And Arsenal were told that they would have to complete their Europa League group games before Thursday November 3, or risk surrendering three points.
    But Prem chiefs agreed with Arsenal to move their City game so that the PSV encounter could happen.
