Mac Allister has been linked with an array of top clubs following his superb World Cup winning exploits with Argentina.

Enciso has shone for Brighton since he joined the club from Paraguayan first division side Libertad in the summer.

The 19-year-old has scored three goals and registered two assists in his 18 Premier League games for the Seagulls.

The Mirror have reported that Mac Allister and Enciso are on the list of players drawn up by Pep Guardiola and City’s sporting director Txiki Begiristain.

The Brighton pair could be considered replacements for Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva, who according to reports are expected to leave the Etihad in the summer.

City are fresh off the back of a third consecutive Premier League title and will be a desirable destination for any player, but they will face competition for the signature of Mac Allister.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool for a long time and is said to be very close to completing his transfer to Merseyside.

Chelsea have also been reported as interested in the midfielder, but may struggle to attract him without European football and such an inflated squad.
