Arsenal still willing to splash cash this month with Mikel Arteta looking at more transfers on top of Leandro Trossard

ARSENAL are still willing to splash out on new signings this month despite landing Leandro Trossard from Brighton.

The versatile Belgian ace, 28, is set to join Mikel Arteta’s title chasers for an initial £21million.

Arsenal moved for Trossard after seeing top target Mykhailo Mudryk join Chelsea.

But the Athletic claims Arteta’s spending may not end there.

The Gunners boss and transfer guru Edu are exploring every possible opportunity for new faces, despite not having an endless supply of cash.

Arsenal are now on the verge of a shock £17.5m move for Spezia’s Polish centre-back Jakub Kiwior.

And reports in Spain claim Real Valladolid right-back Ivan Fresneda is also on his way to the Emirates.

Meanwhile, options in other positions are being assessed with views to potential bids before deadline day.

Arsenal are known to be in the hunt for a new midfielder.

And while it is unlikely a big-money move for West Ham’s Declan Rice occurs, there could be the chance of an arrival on loan.

Youri Tielemans is another in Arteta’s sights, yet Leicester could be reluctant to part ways with his deal expiring in the summer.

A new forward is also on the cards following Gabriel Jesus’ injury.

And reports claim Arsenal are keeping tabs on Bournemouth star Jaidon Anthony.

The 23-year-old is a former academy player and is also out of contract this year.

The Cherries are open to selling him this month, but Anthony will not go for cheap due to additional interest from Leicester, Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen.
