Chelsea star Thiago Silva’s wife aims dig at Liverpool defender Andy Robertson on TikTok and says Ben Chilwell is better

THIAGO SILVA’S wife Belle has taken an astonishing swipe at Liverpool star Andrew Robertson on TikTok – saying Ben Chilwell is better.

Last month, the Reds defender, 26, shared a video of himself skinning Jorginho during his side’s September win over Chelsea on the social media site.

Jumping on the ‘call an ambulance, but not for me’ craze, Robertson shared the clip of himself cheekily hesitating on the ball before exploding past the Italian midfielder, leaving him in a heap on the floor.

The post won praise from a host of fans, with over 500,000 likes.

But Belle has delved into the Scot’s TikTok archives to take a swipe at him just this week – nearly a month after the original post.

She commented: “Chilwell is better then u dude you even lost to Southampton.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea chief Frank Lampard recently piled praise on Thiago Silva for his strong start to life in the Premier League.

After a shaky debut in the 3-3 draw with West Brom, the Brazilian veteran, 36, has forged a solid partnership with Kurt Zouma in the heart of the Blues’ defence.

Now an ever-present in Lampard’s XI, the Blues boss said: “I remember playing in the Premier League at 36 and I wasn’t playing like Thiago is.

“I was in and out of the team, I couldn’t play week-in, week-out because I could feel it at that stage in my career.

“I was a bit tentative with bringing Thiago here on that front, as I knew he was a fantastic player but I wasn’t sure how he would take to the demands of the Premier League.

“He’s been fantastic and maybe I shouldn’t have been surprised because from working with him every day you see up close just how much he puts in.

“He prepares so well, he’s so dedicated, his reading of the game is fantastic and his desire to win headers and compete with anyone is superb.

“He’s really studious and I think it’s clear he will go on and become a manager if he wants to be.

“He’s been a great addition for us both on and off the pitch.”

Chelsea make the short trip to Fulham to take on their West London rivals in the Premier League on Saturday evening, with kick-off 5.30pm.
