Watch shocking moment Copenhagen star Santos decks policeman in crazy scenes celebrating winning goal vs Celtic

COPENHAGEN star Michael Santos barged into a policeman and sent him crashing to the ground during wild celebrations in their shock win over Celtic.

The 26-year-old, who opened the scoring for his side in their 3-1 victory over the Hoops, could then be seen arguing furiously with officers in chaotic scenes.

TV cameras captured the incident in the wake of Pep Biel’s goal that fired the Danish side back into the lead at Parkhead.

Odsonne Edouard had levelled the score for Celtic just minutes before.

And the bust-up happened in just a matter of seconds.

After scoring his goal, Biel ran to the corner to celebrate with the ecstatic Copenhagen fans.

A policeman could then be seen grabbing the Spaniard from behind and spinning him round as he tried to calm him down.

As the pair then remonstrated with each other, the copper was sent flying by Santos, who had sprinted over to celebrate with his team-mate.

The camera then cut away just as the policeman was standing back up to show Copenhagen boss Stale Solbakken celebrating with his staff.

As the TV footage returned to Santos and Biel however, the Uruguayan could be seen being grabbed by the policeman who fell.

Another officer then appeared to try and assist him as Santos put his arms around Biel and tried to walk away.

The striker could then be seen turning round to the policeman and was seen wagging his finger at him.

At the same time, a photographer was caught on camera remonstrating with another cop.

The officer could then be seen grabbing the snapper by the arm before the camera cut away again.

It is not clear if the incident cleared up immediately or if police took more action in that area of the pitch.

However, Santos and Biel were soon back in action and celebrated once more as Dame N’Doye scored Copenhagen’s third.

That wrapped up a 4-2 aggregate victory for them to seal their place in the last 16 of the Europa League ahead of Celtic.
