Watch Arsenal new-boy Thomas Partey blast out initiation song ahead of Leicester as he prepares to make full Prem debut

ARSENAL’S new signing took ‘No Thomas, No Partey’ to a whole new level by blasting out his initiation song on a chair.

Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey had the whole squad clapping along ahead of tonight’s game against Leicester where he is in line to make his full Premier League debut.

Parety, 27, arrived in a £45million deadline day transfer from Atletico Madrid and has already featured twice for the Gunners.

He came off the bench during their Premier League defeat at Manchester City last weekend.

And he played the full 90 minutes in their Europa League win at Rapid Vienna on Thursday.

And ahead of Leicester’s visit to the Emirates tonight – where Partey is expected to start – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shared footage of his rite of passage.

Partey was filmed singing a song believed to be from his native Ghana while his new team-mates joined in with the clapping.

Aubameyang captioned the post: “@ThomasPartey5 sorry bro you can’t escape.”

After the midfielder climbed off the stage, the rest of the players could be heard cheering his effort.

And as he made his way back to his seat, the camera panned to a grinning David Luiz.

Fans were quick to praise Parety’s efforts once the footage surfaced online.

Henry wrote: “I’m in tears, singing our local dialect and team-mated enjoyed it as if they understood the lyrics.”

Kwasi even chipped in with a translation which is unconfirmed.

He wrote: “An English translation of the Twi song @Thomaspartey22 was singing…

“The lamb that was killed, he deserves praise, God the lamb, we will praise your name.”

And Yung added: “Partey singing in his local dialect, you just can’t hate this guy.”

Speaking in tonight’s matchday programme, Aubameyang heaped praise on his new team-mate.

He said: “He is so strong physically but yet so good on the ball as well.

“We didn’t really have a profile like this in our squad before.

“In terms of ball progression, beating the press, going forward, he will be very important for us.”
