Tyson Fury offers to train Andy Ruiz Jr to win him back his titles as Eddie Hearn urges Mexican to fight Dillian Whyte

It couldn’t have been much different from their first fight where Ruiz Jr floored Joshua FOUR times on the way to a seventh-round stoppage KO.

But the Brit got ultimate revenge in the rematch with a hit and don’t get his strategy that worked to perfection.

It saw him reclaim the WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight world titles.

But now Fury, who is preparing for his own rematch and a chance to win the WBC heavyweight strap against Deontay Wilder on February 22, is keen to help out the Mexican.

The Gypsy King, 31, said: “I’ll get him his titles back. I’ve been there, done it, seen it all before. Win, lose, go out, party.

“The main focus is you realise boxing is the most important thing to you in your life.”

He might have a job on his hands to get Ruiz Jr back focused however – SunSport revealed the 20st scrapper is still on holiday.

Ruiz Jr admitted to “three months of partying” in the aftermath of his dismal performance in the AJ rematch.

Ruiz Jr has been urged to fight Dillian Whyte next as he looks to bounce back from the second defeat of his pro career.

HEARN WANTS RUIZ JR VS WHYTE

And the challenge is from someone with a vested interest – Whyte’s promoter Eddie Hearn.

Ruiz Jr is now on the comeback trail to get back to world title contention, and he posted on Instagram asking his followers who he should fight next.

One of the first people to respond was Matchroom boss Hearn, who tagged in Whyte.

And the two Brits have met today in London to work out what is next for the Bodysnatcher.

Another option could be to fight Russian veteran Alexander Povetkin.

Whyte previously told Sky Sports: “If he [Povetkin] wants it, he can get it.

“It’s going to be a tear-up, because he is not really a mover and I’m not really a mover, so he’s a come forward fighter and I come forward.

“We’re going to have a scrap. Povetkin comes to fight doesn’t he. He doesn’t come to mess about. I’m the same, so let’s get it.

“Let’s see who has got the best left hook around.”
