Sad Mike Tyson says ‘happiness for me is death’ in new Netflix documentary about 54-year-old boxing legend

MIKE TYSON tragically revealed that ‘happiness for me is death’ in an upcoming Netflix documentary based on the 54-year-old boxing legend.

Iron Mike is being trained by Rafael Cordeiro ahead of his exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr, 51, in California next month.

And coach Cordeiro let slip, in a Portuguese YouTube interview, that Netflix are filming a documentary with Tyson based on his eventful life in and out the ring.

One day while filming, Cordeiro asked a down-in-the-dumps Tyson what happiness means to him.

And the former world heavyweight champ said: “Happiness for me is death, because I saw many bad things and lost many bad things in my life.”

Tyson grew up in Brooklyn without a father and his mum passed away when he was just 16.

In 1992, he was banged up for three years after being found guilty of raping beauty pageant contestant Desiree Washington.

He earned the moniker ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ and spent another stretch inside after assaulting two older men in 1999.

Tyson – famed for biting a part of Evander Holyfield’s ear off – also bit Brit Lennox Lewis at a press conference and then filed for bankruptcy in 2003 after blowing a £330million fortune.

With his first fight in 15 years on the horizon, Tyson is already planning a further THREE scraps.

Cordeiro reckons Tyson will have a trio of big-money bouts before finally hanging up his gloves.

Tyson is pencilled in to fight arguably the greatest pound-for-pound champ Jones Jr on November 28.

Cordeiro said: “He is very happy to do three more fights next year and suddenly fight for great things.”

Tyson could face the man who stunned the world by beating him in 1990 – Buster Douglas – although it seems highly unlikely as Iron Mike’s foe is 60 now.

Douglas has predicted a win for Tyson against Jones Jr – but reckons they are crazy to fight again at their age.
